Hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for the coming New Year!
Thanks to all of you, last year was a terrific year and so much fun for Chris and me.
Several classes had so many participants that additional classes were held for the wait-list students. It was a very good year.
This coming winter and spring sessions we are offering some of the newer classes that have been so popular.
The SUNCATVHER/WINDBELLS class was a lot of fun with projects that were all different from each other, even though all the same beads and bobbles were being used. That is always a fun for me, how people who claim to have 'no artistic ability' walk out the door with beautiful pieces of art that they made in a few hours. The one night class has been really popular and if you have a spot in your yard or a bare window indoors, check out this class.
The PLANT STAND AND SERVING TRAY was also a hit. The plant stand is taller than our patio table and smaller, but putting mosaics on the wide edge around the tabletop reveals your pattern & color even when a plant is sitting on the table top. The tray designs students came up with were so unique and colorful I am sure the trays will get lots of use.
For so long students asked about an ADDRESS SIGN OR WORD ART SIGN and finally we had one and those classes filled fast. The results were fantastic, some of the best mosaic work I have seen in all the years. The letters/numbers were bold and easy to read and the colors of the design work were great. If you are interested in doing that class, sign up early.
For the 2014/15 school year we are looking for suggestion of any projects you would like to do. Schools need the info usually by May for the fall sessions. Let me know if there is anything special you'd like to see offered. We are thinking of getting out the wine bottles and doing a beaded bottle with a 'bell' inside and/or doing a humming bird feeder with the wine bottles.
Remember we also do private parties, Girls Day Out, Girl Scouts, 4H, church groups, family groups etc. Just call for more information.
Have a wonderful new year and may spring come early!!!!!
Peggy & Chris
p,s, Our 2 yr old grandson, Jude is getting along really well since he broke his leg the week before Christmas. Of course he broke the largest bone in the body, the one between his knee and hip, so his cast is from hip, around his belly button and down to his toes. He's a trooper and slides all over on his belly or back and flipping around.
